IU Girls Generation BTS and CNBLU on KCON 2014

IU will be making her first ever US performance at KCON 2014! Ticketing information has also been released. With KCON’14 just two months away, they have announced the next artist who will be attending! In the past, KCON has created many fun activities for Kpop fans. It is a place where many fans gather to support their favorite idol, mingle with the crowd, and enjoy the delicious food. This year, KCON’14 is back for not just one, but two nights of concerts! M! Countdown returns for a second year! They will be filming the concert and have it broadcast at a later date for the world to see. Fans will be able to look back and reminisce about the awesome nights! In addition to Girls’ Generation, BTS and CNBLUE, the lovely and cute IU will be joining the lineup!
IU KCON

IU is set to join Girls’ Generation, BTS, CNBLUE, and more at this year’s KCON in Los Angeles. This will be her first performance in the United States. Her announcement video shows highlights of her hits including a latest collaboration with HIGH4 and a short shoutout to viewers. They will be collaborating again with a new music video to be dropped later this month.


KCON 2014 will be held from August 9th-10th at the Los Angeles Memorial Stadium. Stay tuned to Koreaboo for more KCON updates!

She has received much love and support with her great singing and acting skills. She debuted on M! Countdown on September 18, 2008 with the single Lost Child. IU has starred in many dramas in the past years, her first drama was Dream High in 2011. She gained a lot of popularity through her character Kim Pil Suk. Her latest album is A Flower Bookmark, which is a cover album of her favorite old time hits.

KCON has also announced the ticket info. Ticket prices range from $50 – $400, each package comes with different benefits.

The event will take place at the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena on August 9 – 10. Tickets will go on sale June 27th at KCON’s website.
