Have you ever heard about costume play? Costume play, which is often abbreviated as "cosplay" is a kind of modern art to create your own costumes based on various characters from comic books, movies, or anime. After the costumes are ready, then you should wear it in special cosplay convention. The artist who creates and performs cosplay is called as "costume player" or "cosplayer".
Meet Mei Wai. She’s one of China’s top coplayers (or “coser” as they’re called there). Today, let’s have a closer work at what other cosplays she has done.

Besides being known as a cosplayer, Mei Wai is also a model that has performed on the catwalk fashion shows China. If only she could appear more often in international cosplay conventions, She appears in Chinese cosplay mags, game promotions and event after event. Mei Wai’s image appeared on the flier for China Joy’s cosplay event; China Joy, of course, is the country’s biggest game event. Hailing from Tianjin, she’s been cosplaying since 1999. Kotaku previously posted her work while featuring photographer MengJie Luan and his photos of her Athena cosplay. she can be as famous as Kipi, Alodia Gosiengfiao, or Jessica Nigri.
Well, we’ve seen some pretty awesome cosplayers over the past few months, from Ormeli’s stunning Elizabeth cosplay from the upcoming game Bioshock: Infinite, to the living, breathing cosplay artist, Kota Kodi. We’ve got another one for you, as brought to our attention by the guys at Kotaku: Mei Wei (pronounced May Way, with some emphasis on the “a”s). She’s done a variety of cosplays from Tifa of Final Fantasy VII fame, to Serah of Final Fantasy XIII-2 fame she really, really loves Final Fantasy.
