Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla Already a Couple?

Kathryn Bernardo comments on holding hands with Daniel Padilla while sleeping. The actress said the photo was taken in Singapore, during a lull in shooting for the second chapter of their hit TV series. Kathryn rebuffed allegations that the photo confirms she and Daniel are already a couple. Padilla said in an interview with ABS-CBN News that the picture was scripted and personally captured by direk Cathy. “Kinuha ni direk Cathy ‘yun, Sinadya ‘yun,” Padilla said.

Avid fans of KathNiel are very much eager to know the real score between them after Padilla admitted last week in an interview on the “Buzz ng Bayan” that he was indeed pursuing Kathryn and they were exclusively dating as of the moment.

Daniel and Kathryn remained to be the hottest teen stars of today with their show being one of the most-watched programs nationwide. There's no doubt that the two have already gained a strong following, considering the successes of their projects, including their recent movie Pagpag which is an entry to the 2013 MMFF.

The young actress is set to celebrate her star-studded 18th birthday lat March 29 and of course Daniel is her escort on the special day. Young star Kathryn Bernardo, a member of Iglesia ni Cristo, said she would date only a guy who shares her religious beliefs. This means suitor/screen partner Daniel Padilla, a Catholic, should consider converting.

“That is a long process. I’ve told him, but I’m not about to force him. I know DJ (Daniel’s nickname) believes in the existence of a higher being—that’s what’s important,” Kathryn said in a media gathering to discuss preparations for her 18th birthday celebration on March 29 at Blue Leaf Filipinas in Parañaque City.

The actress earlier admitted that she cared for Daniel, but would not commit to him. “Religion is one of the factors, but it’s mainly because we don’t want our love life to interfere with our careers right now,” she pointed out.

Kathryn said she once invited Daniel to attend an INC service but that it never happened again because the actor had his own Sunday activities. “We sometimes talk about differences in teachings between INC and the Catholic church. Nakikiramdam ako,” she said. “If one wills [to convert], madaling gawan ng paraan. My dad, a Catholic, converted to be with my mom.”

Kathryn and Daniel were last seen in the drama series “Got to Believe.” In April, they start work on the movie “She’s Dating a Gangster,” with director Cathy Garcia-Molina.

Bernardo was so grateful to her supporters who made the event possible which was reportedly two years in the making, according to ABS-CBN News. The special event was attended by her avid fans, family, classmates and her escort and onscreen partner Daniel Padilla. The young actress thanked her fans who exerted their efforts and time to plan and prepare for 18th birthday celebration with them.
