Jayme Jalandoni Refused The Challenged to Pose Nude on PBB ALL in

The challenge, assigned by Kuya to devoted Christian housemate Jayme Jalandoni, is part of the contestants’ weekly task. Jalandoni was initially reluctant to perform the challenge, saying “Kuya, ayoko maghubad (Kuya, I don’t want to take off my clothes),” to which the latter replied, "Marami ang nakasalalay rito; ang inyong weekly task, ang tulong na maibibigay sa pintor at sa kaniyang adbokasiya. Bibigyan kita ng oras para makapag-isip (There is a lot riding on your decision; your weekly task, the help you can extend the painter and his advocacy I will give you time to think).”

The aftermath
After Jalandoni accepted the task, Kuya asked her to pick three other housemates to join her as nude models.

She chose Michelle, celebrity housemate Daniel Matsunaga and “PBB” oldest contestant Ranty Fortento, all of whom agreed to pose nude.

Before doing the challenge, Jalandoni was called into the confession room to speak to her father.
Speaking to other housemates, she related, “Tinanong niya ako ulit kung naging buo ‘yung desisyon ko, ang sabi ko na, ‘Oo, naging buo ‘yung desisyon ko’ (My father asked me if I already made up my mind and I told him, ‘Yes I have’).”

It was after discussing the matter with him further that she changed her mind. “Sabi ko na mag-no-no ako, kasi gusto ko respetuhin ‘yung daddy ko (I said ‘no’ because I wanted to respect my dad).”
The three other housemates also refused to do the challenge thereafter.

Jayme Jalandoni, a professional nurse who was introduced early in the series as a devoted Christian, was initially in disbelief when Big Brother informed her that her challenge was to become a model for a nude painting.

"Kuya" told Jayme that the artist and his advocacy for education would benefit from her modeling, if she agrees.

'For art, not for lust'

Given the nature of the challenge, Big Brother allowed Jayme to think things through. Jayme, as seen in the episode, consulted her Bible and later fellow housemate Michelle Gumabao, who is also a Christian, when she "couldn't find the answer."

After speaking with Michelle and Daniel Matsunaga, who is a professional model, Jayme told "Kuya" that she will do the challenge. She explained that the nude painting is done for art, not for lust or with malice in mind.

The challenge proved more difficult for Jayme when Big Brother revealed that she will have to be accompanied by three other housemates as nude models.

After covertly getting their thoughts on posing nude, Jayme picked Michelle, Daniel, and Ranty Fortento, a seaman who is also the oldest housemate at 26.

Michelle, who has had her share of modeling after a successful collegiate volleyball career, turned emotional and admitted to having apprehensions about going nude for a painting.

However, the four agree that they trust "Kuya" and expressed confidence that he will not put them in a harmful situation.

'Honor your mother and father'

Now set on doing the challenge, Jayme was called into the confession room by Big Brother to let her hear the opinion of her father, who said in a recorded message that she shouldn't have to think twice about saying no.

An emotional Jayme said that while she had made up her mind about doing the challenge, it would go against her beliefs to disobey her parents, citing one of the Ten Commandments in Christian faith -- "Honor your father and mother."

Jayme, Michelle, Daniel, and Ranty were then called back to the challenge hall where Big Brother asked for Jayme's final decision.

So sabi ko na mag-no-no ako, kasi gusto ko respetuhin 'yung daddy ko," she said.

Trust vs principles

All four housemates were then asked for the last time by "Kuya" on their individual decisions. Each of them said "No," with Jayme pressing the button and setting of the buzzer heard throughout the house.

It remains to be seen whether any of the housemates will use up the last remaining "No" for the duration of the weekly task.
