Jin Se-Yeon and Kang So-Ra Rivals on Their Latest Korean Drama 'Doctor Stranger'

Kang So-Ra  in "Ugly Alert" and was very impressed by her acting. I came here and was surprised at how young she was to have so much acting skills and with so little experience. The long series really showed all her acting tools and the PD and writer let her spread her wings.

So who is the female lead? Jin Se-Yeon or Kang Sora ? well, given the characterization, it would seem that Jin Seyeon has more parts — she is playing two characters after all. But Kang Sora is the slightly bigger star, I think, so maybe they will bump up her role? The word is that the script has been written up to Episode 6, so there is still a lot of room for movement.
Jin Se-Yeon and Kang So-Ra

I just have this compulsion to post all my thoughts on this series. Although Jin Se Yeon and Kang Sora may possibly be rivals on SBS‘ “Doctor Stranger,” the two actresses are nothing but cute friends on the set of filming. Recent photos that were released showed the two playing around with each other by being goofy and making expressions in between filming breaks. Although four years apart in age, the two actresses seemed to be getting along quite well as the photos portrayed their silly personalities.

Jin Se-Yeon Kang So-Ra new drama

With Jin Se Yeon’s short and wavy hairstyle contrasted with Kang Sora’s long and straight hair, the characters of the two actresses also seemed to be complete opposites of each other, creating expectation for future medical battles. Nonetheless, the photos of Jin Se Yeon and Kang Sora being cute and silly described their good relationship on the set of the drama. SBS’ “Doctor Stranger”airs every Monday and Tuesdays at 10 PM

Jin Se-yeon will play two roles, one as an anesthesiologist and Eastern medicine specialist. She’s the daughter of a merchant who emigrated to China, with a sweet, dutiful disposition. And then her doppelganger (I really hope they have a good explanation for why they have the same face other than “just because”) is a woman on a secret mission to get close to the hero. So I guess that makes her the spy in this spy drama. Earlier plot descriptions did mention the hero’s first love who ALSO had the same face; if that’s still true, it could mean that she becomes the spy, or there are just seventy gajillion Jin Se-yeons running around in this drama.

So I honestly don’t care who is the female lead between those two because their roles in it is unlikely to be super strong, at this point.

But if you are asking me who I WANT to see romantically paired with Jongsuk — since it is tradition that the actress paired with the male lead is the female lead — I guess I want to see Kang Sora more
