Lee Min Ho and Kim Soo Hyun have been in a tight competition. Since the dramas that Lee Min Ho and Kim Soo Hyun had starred in, their incomparable popularity has surprisingly increased, particularly in China. Lee Min Ho had starred in the SBS drama The Heirs as Kim Tan while Kim Soo Hyun portrayed a role of an alien, Do Min Joon, in the SBS drama You Who Came from the Stars. Both actors were very commendable and antcipated in their respective dramas wherein they had gained much more popularity.
Due to this inexplicable greatness of the two actors, fans and supporters from both camps are seemingly thinking that Lee Min Ho and Kim Soo Hyun might surpass the popularity of the rest of the Hallyu Stars.The actor’s agency, Starhaus Entertainment, revealed that Lee Min Ho is currently working very hard to film for his upcoming movie “Gangnam Blues.” However, he has consistently been receiving casting offers for future works.
Lee Min Ho was born in 1987 and debuted in the 2006 EBS drama Secret Campus. He then took the lead role in the 2009 KBS2 drama Boys Over Flowers as Jun Pyo where he gained his popular icon and has become widely known all over Korea and abroad. In 2011, he starred in the 2011 SBS drama City Hunter which has become very popular in China. Then again, in 2012 another drama hit from SBS titled Faith gave Lee Min Ho so much fame. And recently, Lee Min Ho has once again, attracted more fans and supporters in his 2013 SBS drama The Heirs with Park Shin Hye.
Meanwhile, Kim Soo Hyun was born in 1988, and first appeared on TV in the MBC sitcom Kimchi Cheese Smile.He developed his career in the 2009 SBS drama Will It Snow for Christmas. Anyhow, he has had a stable career when he starred in the 2011 KBS2 drama Dream High where his team up with Suzy has become very popular. But, his career jumped up to stardom when his 2012 MBC drama The Moon Embracing the Sun became hit making him one of the most popular Korean actors. The drama even exceeded 40% average viewership rating which really supported Kim Soo Hyun’s roaring career. But then, earlier this year, 2014, Kim Soo Hyun came back with Jun Ji Hyun in the SBS drama You Who Came from Stars which has become widely popular, not only in Korea but overseas. Until now, thousands and thousands of fans and supporters still can’t get over the drama and has still been a hit.According to an agency representative, the number of scripts and scenarios that have poured in for the actor, in just the first half of the year alone, is more than 100 in total. More and more scripts are getting piled up with each passing day.
