I love everything that's happening Sistar is finally back with a group release ‘Touch My Body’! Sistar has not had a group release since 2013′s ‘Give It to Me’ but the ladies have been far from silent and hidden. Hyorin and Soyou have had successful solo and collaboration work while Dasom and Bora have acted in KBS‘ ‘Love Rides the Song’ and ‘Dr. Stranger’ respectively.
After releasing a teaser photo signaling their comeback, SISTAR has now revealed a comeback trailer video featuring actor Kim Bosung.
The teaser video has quite a comical feel to it, as Kim Bosung runs around the house, startling the members by shouting his trademark phrase, “의리,” meaning loyalty. A Spanish guitar instrumental plays in the background, and we can see the girls dressed up in colorful, retro-style clothing. At the end of the video, their new title track was revealed to be called “Touch My Body,” to be released on July 21st.
Additionally, information for SISTAR’s comeback showcase was revealed. The showcase will take place on July 21st in Ilchi Art Hall in Seoul. Fans can win tickets to the show by retweeting the Twitter post below with an encouraging message to SISTAR:
This teaser is completely in the vein of previous comeback Sistar teasers in that it seems to have little to do with the song, it is just light-hearted, fun and funky. The girls are minding their own business in a brightly colored apartment when they get a very pushy and unexpected visitor!
It looks perfect bora and her lollipop stole the spotlight! but everyone looks so good and i love the snippet at the end I can't wait. The music made me think of something awesome that was tango inspired but then the real track shows and my expectations just go way too low.
Just out of curiosity since several people have expressed a distaste for the title... what's wrong with "touch my body" ? I love the Mariah Carey song of the same name.
